All three mini blocks can be assembled in any order and in any length. All mini blocks can be isolated to themselves or be common to any adjacent block allowing for multiple pressures and multiple medias to be used in one single air manifold with superior air flow capabilities. Poweraire’s mini blocks and couplings are designed from chemical resistant high impact strength polymers. Each mini block is assembled to one another using one coupling, two 18-8 stainless steel dowel pins to resist block to block torsion and two 304 stainless steel coupling plates to resist both corrosion and tension. All standard “Easy Change” fittings are precision machined from 6061-T6 aluminum and clear anodized to resist corrosion. Modular air manifold end caps come standard with precision machined 6061-T6 aluminum and are clear anodized for corrosion resistance. Both our “Easy Change” fittings and modular end caps can be special ordered with 303 stainless steel making a 100% corrosion resistant manifold package. All fasteners used in the assembly of our standard modular air manifold are 18-8 stainless steel for strength and also to resist corrosion. Combine vacuum, pressurized gas and low pressure liquid in a single manifold. This saves you valuable machine cabinet space while creating a common mounting platform for components of different size, appearance and function.
